EXPIRATORY VALVE is a straight through adapter used to expel excess pressure in the pathway out of the system.
I've used is on my "Ultimate Popper Assembly" to remove used packet of air from the system. The pressure needed is quite high in the "old"style valve. Unscrew the knurled cap to reduce the needed pressure.
The adapter id always open between LEFT and RIGHT ports with the TOP (knurled) port variable to OFF.
