EXPIRATORY VALVE with BLOW-OFF (Plastic) is a valved angle mount which should be mounted directly on the mask and is a purely 1way system.
The additional feature of the BLOW-OFF opens the pathway between the inlet and the BLOW-OFF so that the system can be purged. The BLOW-OFF is loaded so that the valve reverts to it's normal function when released. Otherwise this functions identically to the non BLOW-OFF version.
I've used is on my "Science Project" to remove all exhaled air to atmosphere. The pressure needed is low.
This essentially features an Inlet Valve and an Exhaust Valve and will flow air only 1way.
